What each product status means
Operational, Updating, Maintenance, Investigating, Offline, Unknown and Coming soon, what each one means for you and where to check it.
By the CODCheats team Updated
Every build has exactly one status at a time. You will find it on the game page, on the games page, on the homepage and on the status page. All of them show the same status.
Operational
The build works with the current version of the game, and you can use it.
Updating
The game has been patched and the build is being updated to match. Expect to wait for the update before you can use it. Call of Duty patches often, so Updating is a normal part of the cycle.
Maintenance
The build is offline while we work on it. The other games in your Total Access plan are not affected.
Investigating
We are looking into a problem with the build. It cannot be used until we have checked it. The other games in your Total Access plan are not affected.
Offline
The build is down and cannot be used, and there is no return date yet. Its page says why when we know. The other games in your Total Access plan are not affected.
Unknown
We have not been able to confirm whether the build works with the current version of the game, usually because the game has just been patched. Treat it as not working until the status changes.
Coming soon
The build is not available yet. Its page shows what is confirmed so far, and fills in as features and requirements are announced.
Statuses and Total Access
Call of Duty Total Access covers every included build, whatever its status. It is on sale while at least one included build is Operational or Updating, unless we pause sales. A build in Maintenance, Investigating, Offline, Unknown or Coming soon stays part of the plan, and you can use it as soon as its status is Operational.
Checked and changed
Each build shows two dates. Last checked is the last time we confirmed its status, whether or not it changed. The history under it lists every time the status did change, with the date, so you can see how a build has held up across game patches. The status page shows every build’s history in one list.
What a status is not
A status describes whether a build works with the current game version. It is not a promise about account safety. Third-party software breaks Activision’s terms of service and any account that uses it can be banned, whatever the status says.
