Spotting fake sites and fake staff
How scams that use the CODCheats name work, and the rules that keep you clear of them.
By the CODCheats team Updated
Popular names attract imitators. Fake shops, fake “free” downloads and fake staff accounts are the usual ways people lose money or accounts.
Only buy and download through this website
CODCheats plans are sold through this website only. Check the address bar before you pay, and only download CODCheats software from links on this site or from your CODCheats account.
Nobody from CODCheats will ask for your password
Not by email, not by direct message and not “to verify your account”. Anyone who asks for a password, a login code or remote access to your PC is not us.
Never run a file someone sends you
A message offering a “fix”, an “update” or a “free key” with a file attached is the most common scam there is. Delete it.
Free or cracked versions are not ours
There is no free version of a CODCheats build. A “cracked” or “leaked” copy is at best broken and at worst malware.
Report it
If you find a site, account or file pretending to be CODCheats, tell us. Include the link or a screenshot.
